Top Food and Drink Apps on Android in the Netherlands, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the top food and drink apps on the Android platform in the Netherlands showcased interesting trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

McDonald's saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 25.6K in late November. The app maintained a strong user base, with active users reaching as high as 551.8K during the same period.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting the quarter with around 7.6K and ending with about 4K. However, it retained a substantial number of active users, fluctuating between 294K and 410K.

Thuisbezorgd.nl maintained relatively steady downloads, ending the quarter with approximately 5K. Active users showed a notable increase, reaching nearly 483K by the end of December.

Jumbo Extra's started the quarter with downloads around 4.4K, which dipped mid-quarter but rose to 6K in the final week. The app's active user count saw a peak at 637K in the last week of December.

Finally, KFC Nederland had a gradual increase in downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 2.8K and reaching 4K by the end. Active users remained fairly stable, with a slight peak at 39K in mid-December.
